Dramamine causing tinnitus?

I'm really stupid for doing this in the first place... But my friends and I decided it would be a cool thing to try Dramamine. We each did 600mg. It wasn't fun...... The next day I noticed a ringing in my ears. I thought it was kind of weird, and put it off. It has now been 3 weeks and the ringing is still present. The doctor said there are no signs of infection or earwax on the inside of the ear (no scans have been done, just an examination). Could Dramamine possibly do this to me? If so, should I be worried that the ringing has persisted? It's really upsetting me and making it so I can't sleep... I just want it to go away. :\ please don't come in saying "using OTC drugs as a recreational drug is bad" because I already know. I have learned my lesson.. Thanks.
